The annual Caring Fore Our Community golf tournament will support Community Care Northumberland services.
Community Care Northumberland is pleased to announce not only a sold-out crowd for their annual Caring Fore Our Community golf tournament on June 26, but an impressive $27,070 raised in support of the essential programs and services they provide.
Held at Grafton's Shelter Valley Pines Golf Club, the tournament brought together local businesses, volunteers and supporters for a day of fun, generosity and connection.
As a result, the services provided by CCN – from transportation to hospice to Meals On Wheels – will remain affordable, accessible and rooted in care across the county.
“This tournament is always a highlight of our year,” CCN Chief Executive Officer Trish Baird said in the announcement.
“The support we received means we can keep doing what we do best – serving our community and making sure people get the care and connection they deserve. We're incredibly grateful to everyone who took part.”
The announcement also included special recognition to key sponsors, including Platinum Sponsor LiUNA Local 183, Presenting Sponsor Cogeco Northumberland, hole-in-one sponsor Cobourg Kia, Gold Sponsor Durham Transport, cart sponsor The El Cobourg, swag-bag sponor IA Private Wealth (Brian Darlow and Steve Badali) and lunch sponsors Behan Construction, Part-Time CFO Services and Cobourg Kia.
