Roseneath man charged with DUI

A Roseneath man is facing impaired driving following a stop in Cobourg late Tuesday night.

Police allegedly stopped the man at approximately 11 PM for running a red light at Elgin Street West and Rogers Road.

Officers claim to have suspected alcohol consumption. He apparently failed a breathalyzer.

His licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle impounded for one week.
