Cobourg

The Town of Cobourg announces the return of CBC crews for filming on their long-running series Murdoch Mysteries in downtown Cobourg Monday and Tuesday, May 26 and 27.

Monday filming, from about 4 to 8 p.m., will take place outside the Prep Food Co. in the First Street alleyway entrance.

Tuesday filming, all day, will take place at various locations, including:

  • 142 King St. E.

  • King Street East on the north and south sides, including several hours of filming on the porch at James W. Gordon Insurance and the stretch between Nessie's British Shop and MacCoubrey Funeral Home

  • South side of King Street near Brocanier's Menswear and The Grubby Barber Shop

Production vehicles will be parked in the Second Street and Albert Street lots, and horse-and-wagons will be parked on Second Street.

No full road closures are planned, though there will be intermittent traffic control. Cobourg Police Services will be working directly with the production company to ensure safety and traffic control.
