Colborne teen charged with assault

A Colborne area teen is facing an assault charge, following an alleged incident on July 19.

Northumberland OPP claim an altercation occurred on William Street accusing the teen of using sports equipment during the assault. The injuries to the victim were described as non-serious. The teen was arrested Thursday. 

The name of the accused is not being released due to provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
