Alderville First Nation celebrating 31st Annual Traditional Pow Wow

Alderville First Nation is inviting the public to attend its upcoming 31st Annual Traditional Pow Wow this weekend, July 12th and July 13th, at 8757 Roseneath Landing Road in Roseneath.

Gates will open at 10 a.m., with Grand Entry starting at 12 p.m. Everyone is welcome.

Admission is free for children under 6, elders 65+, and Alderville First Nation members.

Entry for ages 7-12 is $5, and for ages 13-64 is $10.

The event will feature Emcee Jordan Mowat, Host Drum Smoke Trail, Arena Director Perry “Bing” Stevens, and Head Firekeeper Tim Smoke.

The Pow Wow is a rain or shine event. Attendees are encouraged to bring sun protection, reusable water bottles, and lawn chairs.

Rough camping is available, however no campfires are allowed. Showers are available off-site. 

If attending, please take note, do not go under the dancers' tents unless invited.

No drugs, alcohol, or pets are permitted.

Parking is available at Alderville Community Centre and Glen Crowe Memorial Park, with a shuttle service provided.
