Today and tomorrow, Cobourg Police are holding Commercial Vehicle Awareness Days as part of their June Selective Traffic Enforcement Project.

The two-day initiative is focused on inspecting trucks, trailers, and commercial vehicles to ensure they adhere to safety standards.

This joint effort includes several regional police services, the OPP, the Ministry of Transportation, and other road safety partners.

Expect increased police presence with checkpoints set up at various locations across Cobourg, where officers will be conducting inspections and speaking with drivers as part of the education and enforcement campaign.
