Cobourg woman charged following traffic stop in Brighton

A Cobourg woman is facing one charge, following a traffic stop early Tuesday morning in Brighton.

Officers on patrol in the area of Elizabeth Street just after 2:30 A.M. recognized a vehicle associated with a suspended driver.

Police claim to have recognized the passenger wanted on an outstanding warrant. She allegedly gave police incorrect identification.

She is charged with obstruction. The woman was held for a bail hearing.
