Cobourg's Venture 13 Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre is putting out a call to young innovators aged 11 to 14 to up their game, as their popular STEM Summer Camps for Youth return.

Two sessions offering immersive hands-in experience in science, technology, engineering and math will be offered, allowing campers to explore topics through exciting experiments, Minecraft building challenges, interactive workshops and guest speakers.

It's all about sparking creativity, getting curious and teaming up for amazing hands-on projects, all in a fun and tech-savvy space.

“The Venture 13 team looks forward to welcoming a new group of young thinkers, makers and future leaders this summer,” the announcement said.

Session 1 runs July 21 to 25, and Session 2 from Aug. 11 to 15. Sessions take place at Venture 13 (738 D'Arcy St.) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at a cost of $200 plus HST.

Each session is limited to 12 campers, so both should fill up quickly – early registration is encouraged.
