Donations are pouring in for a family who lost their home due to a weekend fire near Roseneath.

The campaign appears to be started by Judy and Brian (Doc) Rahme, with a goal of $35,000.

“My son and daughter-in-law have just experienced an unimaginable tragedy. Their home was completely destroyed in a devastating fire, leaving them with nothing. In a matter of moments, they lost their house, their vehicles, their beloved animals, and every possession they had worked so hard for,” stated the GoFundMe page.

“We are reaching out in this time of urgent need to ask for your help. Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly to helping them secure basic necessities, temporary housing, transportation, and eventually begin rebuilding their lives.”

Authorities said the fire broke out just before noon on Sunday at a home on Grandview Drive. No one was home at the time of the blaze. Damage is estimated at approximately $1 million.
