Cobourg

What is sometimes called Cobourg's high season began over the holiday weekend when – until Thanksgiving Day – tourist-season Waterfront Parking rules and rates take effect.

Waterfront Parking Pass options (available at parking.cobourg.ca or in person at the Municipal Law Enforcement office in the Market Building at 201 Second St.) for residents and visitors include:

The daily waterfront parking pass at $40 a day – eligible in all on-street and pay-and-display lots except for the Charles Street lot (which is reserved for Cobourg residents only).

The resident waterfront season pass – This is good in all on-street and pay-and-display waterfront areas at $40 for Cobourg residents and $20 for East Beach area residents.

The East Beach parking area will have 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. as hours of enforcement for the on-street parking east of Victoria Park. Paid parking in this area is available using a daily or resident waterfront pass or Honk Mobile.

Overnight parking at the Cobourg waterfront is available only within the East Beach parking area and at the Marina parking lot.

A staff report with next steps for parking within the Town of Cobourg will be coming to council in the future. For questions regarding parking enforcement, contact the Municipal Law Enforcement Office at 905-372-8380.
