Hastings man charged with DUI

A Hastings man is facing impaired driving following a traffic stop in Cavan-Monaghan Township early Sunday morning.

Peterborough OPP say they received a report of a vehicle having difficulty maintaining their lane. Upon stopping the driver and speaking with them, police alleged the odor of alcohol on their breath.

Authorities claim the driver failed a roadside screening test. The accused will appear in court in May.
